I have two essay questions followed by four multiple selection questions. For some reason, it displays the second essay and instantly runs through all of the questions. The essay questions are not to be graded. Anyway, I gratefully will take any advice.

Did you copy the 1st essay question to create the 2nd one? It looks like the file has the bug that adds a hidden trigger to auto advance.
