Justified text goes outside text box

Jan 15, 2019

I'm just posting to see if anyone else has encountered strange behaviour when using "justify" text alignment in text boxes? I'm doing a magazine-style layout and I'm getting very strange behaviour on text. Here's a screenshot of what I mean. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does the only option to "fix" it is to use left justification as "justify" doesn't work at all.

The file is a Storyline 360 file built from scratch (not a template) and at this point is only about 6 slides.

The green dashed line is my attempt to show the approximate outlines of the text box boundaries. As you can see, the words "Airborne and sound" are completely outside the boundaries.

Justify text weirdness

PS - this is NOT a finished slide and is just a placeholder - i.e. don't judge me for the text content :)

Hello Leah,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing in your course.

It looks like the line you are having trouble with is a bulleted item. We do have a similar issue reported to our team that we are looking into.

I will add this conversation to the report as we work to track this down and so that we can share any updates we have with you here as well.

In the meantime, you may need to remove the bullets or justified text.

Hi all!

Great news today! 📰We just shipped out our newest update ( Update 32, build 3.32.20313.0) for Storyline 360!

You'll see all the fixes in the updated release notes. This update includes a fix for a bug where justifying the text in a numbered/bulleted list would cut off text.

Make sure to update Articulate 360 to get all the fixes!
