Missing Responses
Jan 06, 2017
Hello Heroes,
I'm publishing a course from Storyline 2 for our LMS using SCORM 1.2 reporting. I have a question bank setup with random drawing. When I preview the entire project, all questions appear normally. However, when I preview the course in the LMS, some questions are missing responses. On some question only on or two responses are missing, but on others, all three responses are missing. So far I've only had this issue with multiple choice questions.
This is now the third course that I've had this issue with. I was able resolve in the past by inserting a new slide and re-entering the question and answers. Unfortunately, this time it seems that it's not working even after I've done that.
If anyone has any ideas to resolve, I'm willing to try!
Please see photos for examples.

Hi Jeff
are you
have you tried uploading to Scormcloud and testing there?
SL2, and I've been publishing for HTML. I'm not familiar with Scormcloud - I'll check it out.
Hi Jeff
happy to take a look for you if you want to upload your.story file
Here's an update: after some more digging, we noticed that the only affected responses are ones that contain this symbol: ±
Interesting find - thanks for coming back with an update. Are you also seeing this behavior when you view the content with Flash? Also, can you confirm you're using a supported browser?
Since you mentioned you weren't familiar with SCORM Cloud, I wanted to point you to these directions that will help you with testing a file there.
Like Wendy said, feel free to share your file in this thread, or if you prefer to send it directly to our Support Engineers to have a closer look, you can reach them through this form.
Thanks, Alyssa.
I'm using Chrome Version 54.0.2840.87 m (64-bit), and Internet Explorer 11, which appear to be supported browsers.
For now, I'm just going to use +/- as a substitute to the symbol. Should I submit this issue to Support Engineering?
Hi Jeff,
Yes, you can certainly reach out to the Support Engineers with this issue - if it's something they can replicate, they will pass it along to our Quality Assurance team. Thanks for making us aware of this!
