Hi there, Just wondering if this is intended as designed, with the modern player my courses move up and down with the scroll bar. Tends to be annoying when navigating. I have this happening on two courses I released using the modern player, is there a fix?
I have the same bug with an e-learning course developed today! Even formerly finished e-learnings (without the error at that time) are now displayed with this error when published again (although no change has been made to the actual STORY file...just published again). I only get this error with Firefox and Edge, I don't have any problems with Chrome.
I am using the latest version Storyline 360 and the latest version of Firefox. Our customers also report that the bar below the actual e-learning appears as soon as they scroll.
Here is a quick peek that shows the behavior: Peek
So sorry you're running into this issue, too! We've got our eyes on this, and you're in the right place to stay up-to-date on the latest information. As soon as we get this fixed, we'll let you know!
I'm also experiencing this issue. I use Storyline 3, export to web, and then embed the iframe into Rise. At first I thought I my Story size was off, so I tried resizing to both 4:3 and 16:9; I wouldn't have thought it would be an issue given the modern player is responsive, but I thought I'd give it a short. No dice. I also double-checked turning off volume, captions, controls... anything that might normally be found at the bottom of the frame.
I'm glad it's not just me. Please just keep us updated :)
We've seen this problem when the Modern Player is used, but it sounds like you're using the Classic Player since you're using Storyline 3.
Would you mind sharing a fullscreen screenshot of what you're seeing? I just want to be sure it's related to the same bug mentioned here, and not something else. Thanks!
Thanks for the clarification, Cassandra. Yes, that's what we've been seeing and our team is taking a look.

Hey everybody. I'm excited to let you know that we just released update 23 for Storyline 360! It includes new features and fixes - check them all out here.
We fixed some modern player issues, including blank space below slides that resulted in unnecessary scroll bars and sometimes dark rectangles at the bottom of content.
Here’s how you can update Storyline 360 to take advantage of everything the latest release has to offer. Let me know how you make out!
We have the newest update of SL360 and we still have the bug when using the modern player. Unfortunately I can't share the content with you but as described above, the scrolling is still there in IE, FF and Edge.

AGH scroll monster! 👿So sorry that crept up into your file -- let me see if I can help!
Can you share a few more details with me?
Hi there Alyssa, the answers to your questions are:
Hi Michael,
Thanks for those details. We've tried recreating the issue using the same settings you're using, but we haven't had any luck so far.
Would you mind sharing your file with our team so we can try and spot what's causing this? Thanks!
Sure, I just submitted a case with the file, thanks for your assistance.
Thanks, Michael! Your file is in the right place, and you'll hear back from one of our Support Engineers soon.
Hello, I'm also experiencing this within two of my courses, but not on a 3rd.
Any pointers would be gratefully received. :-)
Hi Tristan,
Thanks for reaching out and letting us know what you are experiencing.
Based on the video, it does seem like you're running into a similar issue.
Michael's issue above is specific to the Modern Player, and a video being present on the next slide and is happening in Edge, IE, and Firefox.
We have another issue that is specific to IE and Firefox, but a subsequent video is not necessarily present.
Do either of those mimic what you're experiencing?
Hi Leslie,
This seems to feature throughout the entire project and is in Chrome or IE.
Tristan
Thanks Tristan.
Would you be able to share your .story file for us to take a look?
Curious if you're experiencing a different error as we've not seen this one crop up in Chrome yet.
If you cannot share here in the forums, you are welcome to share here privately.
Any recommendations on how to correct this issue yet?
Hi Leslie, files uploaded in Case: 01569991
Thanks Tristan
Thanks Tristan. I've received your case and I'm going to take a look and will reply to you via e-mail within your support case.
Not at this time Michael, but both your support case and this conversation are attached to the issue so that we can update you when we can.

Hi Alyssa,
I actually got it wrong: I am using Storyline 360, and here's a link to a brief video example of what it looks like: https://360.articulate.com/review/content/5ba2a347-b21b-4497-8c3a-74be25bcec08/review
