I used Storyline 1 for a long time and created hundreds of pages with the functions alike the attached file. This week I started working with Storyline 2 and I noticed that the "next" button loses its program to go to page 1.2 and it only comes back to page 1.4.
Please, could you analyze the attached file? Thank you!
Thanks for sending over your file. I am able to see the behavior you're describing, and I was also able to reproduce the behavior in a new file. Let me investigate this further, and I'll pop back in as soon as I have more information to share!
Thanks so much for being patient while I tested your file - unfortunately I was not able to determine a solution. I have shared this issue with our Quality Assurance team, and although I'm not able to provide a timeline for a solution, I will provide updates here in this thread as they become available.
One workaround would be to create a new T/F variable. Then on Slide 1.4 R1, create two additional triggers:
Set [variable] equal to True when the timeline ends.
Jump to Slide 1.2 T2 when the timeline starts if [variable] is equal to True.
I added the variable and triggers to the original file you shared and attached the updated version here.
Another workaround would be to remove Slide 1.4 R1 completely, and allow the user to revisit the Drag and Drop slide by using the default Previous button. Can you share your reasoning for needing slide 1.4?
I should understand then that this version 2 bug will generate a tremendous amount of work for us, because this upgrade was specifically purchased to quickly transform all courses, already produced, to be published to mobile platforms. Version 1 does not perform this task satisfactorily. We use this format in hundreds of screens.
I understand that it should be treated as a SERIOUS ERROR of this new version and corrected as soon as possible.

Hi there Paulo,

Thank you Alyssa!
We bought the new version (2) to use also in mobile phones and tablets, unfortunately this error prevents us from sequencing production.
Please, as soon as possible, please contact me. Thank you!
I had a look at this too, and can see what is happening. Interested to see why this is happening Alyssa.

Hello everyone,
Good news! We fixed the issue you reported where the Next button directed to an incorrect slide when revisiting a freeform quiz slide.
Install the latest Storyline 360 update to take advantage of all the recent features and fixes. Here's how.
If the problem happens again, please record a Peek 360 screencast for me, and I'll be happy to help!
