I am trying to build a module in Storyline, and have a slide with two layers on it. I want users to click the next button to show the second layer, and then on that layer click the next button again to move on to the next slide. I can't add this as a trigger - instead, the trigger gets added again to the base layer. Can anyone help please?
Have a look at the attached and see if that works for you. I use a variable to indicate if a layer is being displayed. Based on that variable, I either navigate to the next slide or show the layer.

Michael just pipped me to the post. I also used a variable, but in this case it counts the number of times the Next button has been pressed.
