I saw this before, and it confused me. The way Jeanette described it was along the line of "We move Storyline out of the way so you can record", which is fine UNLESS you are trying to record Storyline!
If you want to record a Storyline window - you will need, once the record pre-window has opened, to open another instance of Storyline, record it, and at the end, the first one will re-appear, and you dro pthe video into it.
As posted by Bruce, this is by design. The Storyline.exe process from the Task Manager Application Tab will be removed. By switching the Task Manger to the Processes Tab you should see the Stoyline.exe*32 process running. Exiting the Storyline Screen Recorder should restore Storyline and place the executable back under the Task Manager Application Tab.

Actuially when I click on Record Screen it completely shuts Storyline down. When I check Windows Task Manager it does not show Storyline running.
