I have resources on the player that I have added, and when I test them in the player setup they work, however when I am viewing the presentation published via the web the links are not active, and I cannot click on them. Any idea why and how I can fix them?
Hi, Gena -- Thanks for reaching out and can you please confirm that you testing your course in the intended environment? You are also welcome to share your file. :)
As Christie mentioned, please be sure you are testing the published output.
Although most content displays during preview just like it would in the published output, there are a few items that are unavailable during preview. They are:
Videos from websites, such as Screenr, YouTube, and Vimeo
Web objects
Interactions imported from Articulate Engage
Print results
JavaScript triggers
Hyperlinks may not work during preview. We recommend publishing to test hyperlinks.
thanks for your reply, but I am referencing published content. I published the storyline for the web and am using the web to view. When I test the links in the player set-up prior to publishing the links are fine. Once published, the links are not active, meaning when I click on them nothing happens. I intent to use the course in our LMS but for the sake of testing and sharing easily with others I am publishing it via the web version, as publishing and putting it in our LMS is laborious. I do not want to put it in the LMS until I am sure everything is functioning properly. Any idea why the links would not work?
Hi, Gena -- As you mentioned your course will ultimately be housed on an LMS, have you considered testing it in the SCORM Cloud, as that is the recommended environment for LMS testing? Please also see this article for additional information on How to Troubleshoot Your LMS with SCORM Cloud.
Hi, Gena -- Your links should work on the web publishing option, and the best place to test when publishing for web is tempshare.articulate.com.
And again, we're happy to take a look at your file if you'd like to share it. You may either upload here in your post, or you can use this form to share it for private review. :)

I can try that, but why would the links not work on the web publishing option?
