Results Slide reporting incorrect result

Aug 11, 2016

Hello,

I am having trouble with a results slide reporting the wrong percentage after completion of a quiz. If the student gets 20%, 40%, 60% or 80% it reports and displays correctly. If the student gets 100% it still reports 80%.

I have checked every possible setting I can think of and find and everything looks to be correct. This project is one of 8 projects I am working on and all other 7 projects are working perfectly so I can't understand why this one is not.

I have tried deleting the results slide and inserting a new one multiple times with no luck. I have also attempted importing the results slide from one of my projects that is working properly and it still reports 80% instead of 100%.

All 5 questions are set up in a question bank with a point value of 10 each. The results slide is calculating from the correct question bank. It seems as though the results slide is picking up only 4 out of the 5 questions in the bank.

Please if anyone can help I would be most appreciative!

Thank you

Hi Emma,

Are you seeing the score as such on your LMS report or within the Storyline final results slide where it's only showing the 80% score? If only seeing the score in your LMS did you look at testing it in SCORM Cloud as Wendy mentioned, which would help narrow down the cause? You could review this article for recommended testing steps.

Also, as Kamil mentioned if you want to share your file you can do so by adding it here using the "add attachment" button at the bottom of the reply window.

Thanks everyone, the score is reporting incorrectly in the story file for now as it has not yet been loaded to the LMS. I have checked the correct incorrect settings for each question and all appear to be correct. I'm not too sure how to check the variables as they are the inbuilt ones.

I have attached the file if anyone would be kind enough to check over it for me please. Thankyou!
