When there is an exam (through Question bank) at the end of a course, with a Results Slide immediately after, is there a special setting somewhere to get it so that when you select YES to Resuming where you left off it directs you to the Results Slide????
Of course I want this to happen when someone has finished the exam/quiz.
I appreciate the response, but not what I was looking for.
For some reason, in the past it worked - when you clicked YES to Would you like to resume where you left off? - it would bring you to the Results Slide if you already completed the quiz at the end of the course.
This year, for some reason we cannot get it to do the same. It brings you back to the first question of the quiz.
It should be bringing you back to the slide you left off on, so if you left and closed the course while viewing a slide from the question bank you'd return there (to the question you last saw). If you're seeing it reset back to the initial question, I'd be curious to know a bit more about where you're testing (what LMS, browser/environment) so that we could try to replicate it - and you could also look at testing it yourself in SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for testing LMS content. You could use the article here to walk you through the troubleshooting steps.
Am I able to recreate this behavior? Are you saying that I should just recreate the file? Was there anything you did to the file that was different from what I did?
I apologize Brett. I am curious if it's just this file with the difficulty. I created a new file with some quiz slides and a result slide and prompt to resume. I then published the course to completion, closed, re-opened, said yes to resume, and it resumes on the results slide as expected.
Have there been any bugs reported with a large number of questions? I mean this quiz only has 40 questions, but we got the same file to work correctly when we minimize the number questions to only 5. I don't think 40 is a large number of questions, but so far that seems to be the only issue we found.
I did a bit more searching and found a potentially similar issue. I'm going to attach this thread and your file for the QA Team so that some additional testing can be done.
Was this issue resolved? I am having a similar issue with one of my modules. A learner passes their quiz, views their results page, and exits the course. When the learner tries to 'resume where they left off', the resume takes them to a previously answered question in the quiz, rather than back to the results page.

Hi Brett!
There is not a built in way within Storyline to set this up, but I have seen a similar discussion here that may offer some helpful ideas perhaps.

Again, thanks for your time. I will keep trying.

The last slide which I left off on was actually the Results Slide. So wouldn't it open back up if I choose Yes, to the Results Slide?
We have a Sandbox site where we test SCORMS, and it doesn't work for us this year, but in the past it has.
Were there any updates to Storyline 2 in the past year which could have changed something related to this?

Hi Brett!
You can see all the update details and dates for Storyline 2 here.
Were you able to replicate this in SCORM Cloud as Ashley shared?

I apologize, there is a free version for up to 100mb. If you'd like us to take a look, please feel free to share your .story file.
If you need to share privately, you may do so here.
I already did. Please see first post.
I apologize Brett - that's what I get for coming in as second string behind Ashley :) I'll take a look.
I do see the behavior that you are reporting, but I am unable to re-create this in a new file.
Are you able to recreate this behavior?

I agree, 40 does not sound like too many.

Hi Nicole! Looks like I just responded to a similar thread here.
I do not have an update to share from the QA Team on the issue above.
