Resuming Course with "Invalid Question" displayed

Mar 04, 2013

Hello all

Have had a look through the forums/interwebs and can't seem to find anyone having the following issue, and how it might be resolved.

Long story short, we have developed a large programme in Storyline and one of our developers have found the following bug when accessed through our LMS (Net Dimensions EKP):

1. If you go to an assessments question with feedback and hit submit without selecting anything you get the "invalid answer" popup coming up as expected.

2. If the user exits the programme at this point and then resumes (a requirement of this course due to the size of it) the user gets presented with the same "Invalid answer" popup as it appears to be saved.

3. The problem is that everything is locked for the user at this stage, they can not reclick submit and the "ok" button within the popup does not work either - they are effectively locked out of the programme.

Has anyone else noticed this behaviour when resuming courses on their LMS and if so, has anyone figured out a workaround for it?

Thanks!

Lee

Good Morning Lee, and welcome to Heroes!

I recommend testing your published content at SCORM Cloud and comparing the results with your LMS.   SCORM Cloud is an industry-standard testing engine.

If your content works properly at SCORM Cloud but not in your LMS, open a support case with your LMS provider to troubleshoot the issue.  Your LMS provider may request a debug log to help identify the problem.  Click here to learn how to generate a debug log.

If your course doesn’t play correctly at SCORM Cloud, submit a case to Articulate.
