Review Quiz slides are not displaying information correctly

Feb 20, 2013

I am fairly new to Storyline, so forgive me if I am looking over a simple setting somewhere...

After taking the quiz, if the syudent misses a question and clicks on the "review quiz" button, it presents them with the question, a green arrow next to the correct answer, and a red banner on the bottom the says incorrect (please see below). Every question displays the slide in the same fashion, even if they chose the correct answer (in the example below "all of the above" is the correct answer). I believe that the review quiz slides should show the answer they chose, a green arrow next to the correct answer, ans the corrosponding banner along the bottom, is this correct? I should add that the quiz is scored correctly, it only appears odd when reviewing the quiz.

Welcome to E-Learning Heroes, Paul!

Without seeing how the quiz is set up, it's a little difficult to say. However, I have seen some cases where this shows up because the revisit settings for the question slides are set to "Automatically Decide" or to "Reset to initial state". If you haven't already, can you try using the "Resume Saved State" setting on your slides and see if that makes a difference? You can do so in Story View. Just click on the slides and a panel will display the "Revisiting" settings on the lower right-hand corner of the window.
