Right click issue in SL3 when published to web

Hi gang,
I wonder if anyone else has experienced an issue in SL3 (update 2) where a hotspot with a RIGHT click trigger defined results in the browser's context menu appearing when the interaction is published to web.
This doesn't happen when published to web using SL2.
I attached a short (5s 134KB) video file to show the issue with a simple scenario. Also attaching the simple story file used in the video.
(I reproduced this issue in Chrome v63 and Firefox 57.)
So, two questions:
1. Are others able to reproduce this in SL3? (Note: It's not an issue with SL2.)
2. Is there a known workaround or a known fix?
Thanks! :)

Hello Mel, I've bookmarked your post as I have ran into this issue today as well. I only tested it in Chrome browser. Hopefully there is a quick and easy solution for this!
Thanks Mel and Kimberly for reaching out here (and sharing your file!). I saw the same behavior you described but only within the HTML5 output - it does appear to work in Flash. I took a look at how this worked in Storyline 360 as well and saw the same thing. I'm going to share this with my team as a possible software bug, so I'll keep you posted here when I hear back from them.
Depending on priority and risk, some bugs can be fixed quickly, while others take longer to resolve. Here's more information on how we identify and tackle bugs.
I’ll let you know as soon as we have an update on this issue. Thanks so much again for letting us know about this, and I’m sorry if it’s slowing you down.
Thank you Ashley for the update! Very much appreciated.
Hi gang,
Here are a couple of follow ups and a workaround.
Articulate Support was able to reproduce this issue. It has been logged as case #01220585.
Subsequent to that, one of my users reports that this issue doesn't come up in IE or Microsoft Edge. (It does happen in Chrome and Firefox.)
Finally, another community member, Sanket Dongre, was kind enough to offer a workaround in another discussion thread here. I tested the workaround and it works swimmingly. :)
Thank you for such a thorough update Mel. I'll add this thread to the report so that we can keep up with the users affected as well as update when we can.
Hi folks!
To follow up on Ashley's post – we just released another update for Articulate 360, and you can check out the new features and fixes in the release notes!
One of the fixes addresses an issue in Storyline 360/HTML5 output where right clicking on a hotspot that was designed to jump to the next slide would just display the context menu. Storyline 3's next update will also include a fix for this, in which we'll let you know here once that's ready!
Here’s how you can update Storyline 360 to take advantage of everything the latest release has to offer.
Let us know if you have any questions!
Hey everybody. I'm excited to let you know that we just released update 3 for Storyline 3! It includes new features and fixes - check them all out here.
One of the fixes addresses an issue where right-clicking shows the context menu in HTML5 output.
Here’s where you can download and install the latest version of Storyline 3. Let me know how you make out!
Thanks so much Crystal! :)
