Help ---I am building an accessible course in Storyline 360 and would like to use layers. On the layer, I have a text box and an image with alt-text. The screen reader skips the text box and reads the alt text for the image. I have customized the focus order to read the text box first and arranged the timeline so the text box is before the image. The text box is read only if they arrow up before exiting the layer. I deleted the image and it still skips the text box. Any suggestions?
I'm happy to help! Is the text box at the top of the Focus Order? I'd recommend adding the items from the layer to the top of the focus order and having the items on the base layer listed last.

difficult to help without being the slide or focus order.
Hello Microassist Learning!

Also, which screen reader are you using?
thanks, I will try that. I am using Jaws.
I ended up using a layer marker object first in the tab order. this works.
Hi Microassisst,
