Storyline 2 - bookmarking is not working

Hi there. I have downloaded the trial of Storyline 2 just to ensure it works with our LMS before purchasing it, and while it does record completions into our LMS, it is not bookmarking.

I have tried "Prompt to resume" and "Always resume" with and without the "When running in LMS, ignore Flash cookie" option and am always taken back to the beginning of the course when I return with no prompt to resume. I also tried publishing to HTML and that did not work as well, so I don't think it's an LMS issue. Also, bookmarking works correctly with Storyline 1 in our LMS.

Any suggestions? My organization was going to upgrade, but if we can't get bookmarking to work, we may have to hold off on that.

Our LMS is Plateau and we are publishing to AICC.

Thank you Russell and Leslie. I think our LMS doesn't work well with SCORM 2004. So I have submitted my file for checking.
Is there a size limit for courses that you should try to avoid to ensure the bookmarking works?

Hi there, Amanda. There isn't a hard and fast answer about file size and suspend data limits. The limit will vary, depending on a variety of factors. You'll need to test your content in your LMS to verify, and I would recommend reaching out to your LMS support to see if they can offer guidance as to what their best practices are.

Also, you mentioned that you were on update 6 of Storyline 2. Here's a link to download our most recent version, update 11, which includes some important fixes!

Thanks everyone for your help.
I have changed the slide properties on a lot of the slides from 'automatically decide' to 'reset to initial state' and this seems to have solved the issue. Reset to initial state does seem to store less data than automatically decide.
