I'm working on a course that we want to be able to launch on an iPad from the LRN LMS. The course launches correctly, but when the screen displays on an iPad text appears across the right hand side of the screen. Some of the text appears to be screen titles but other text (Resume, Warning, Invalid Answer) does not appear anywhere within the course content.
I am trying to figure out where the text is coming from in order to see if I can prevent it from displaying.
Definitely weird text you've got there - are you able to share a link to the course and a copy of your .story file? You can upload it using the "add attachment" button at the bottom of the reply window.
Hi, Shawn -- Thanks for reaching out! May I ask if you are finding the same behavior when you test your course in the SCORM Cloud, as it is the industry standard for LMS testing?
Hi Christie, the course works fine on our internal LMS (SumTotal) so this is certainly an unusual incident for me. This only occurs when we launch it through LRN.
Hi, Shawn -- Thanks for your reply, and have you had a chance to reach out to LRN for their input on the matter? If the course is working correctly in other environments, perhaps they may have additional insights on the behavior you are experiencing.
Hi Christie, LRN considers anything not built by them to be 3rd party and their support for 3rd party materials is very minimal. I suspect I won't get any farther than this.
