Text is Changing Location When In/Out of a Text Box

I'm just getting started with Storyline, so this might be really easy to figure out, but I haven't yet. Could you tell me how I can get my text to appear in the same place it is when I'm typing within the text box? Right now, it appears in one place when I'm within the text box (i.e. the edit mode) and in another place when I click outside of the text box (i.e. the final mode). I've included screen shots of what currently happens. As you can see, the text adjusts for some reason once I'm out of the text box. (Example: "pulvinar" ends line 4 when I'm in it, but starts line 5 when I'm outside of it.) Any help you can provide would be great. Thanks in advance!

Hi Julie and welcome to Heroes!

The first things I'd check into that could cause your text or images to not appear as expected while editing and then previewing the course would be the slide zoom level. You'll want to work at 100% zoom.

Additionally, you'll want to follow along with these guidelines as detailed here:

Work on your local drive (your C: drive).Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, includingfile corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
You should also make sure the directory pathto your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters(for example C:\Articulate).
Avoid using special characters, accents orsymbols in your file names.
Confirm that you're working with a DPI setting of 96 as described here
