if you send the output folder to someone so he can use it offline then no. But if you upload it to an LMS you can register users to a course so he can use it until you remove the registration after a year so they have no longer access to the course. That´s how we do it. Sadly only manually registrations of users are available in our LMS, but I don´t know how it´s handled in other systems. :)
