Hoping you can help me figure something out. Every once in awhile, while editing, I lose the ability to play, stop, pause, or do anything with my timeline. The buttons become unclickable and I have to close the program. I'm not sure if this is something I am doing or not? Has anyone else had this issue? I've attached a screenshot.
I am using Storyline 360 on Windows 10. It happens in any project of mine. I have tried pinpointing when it happens and it seems to occasionally occur when I copy and paste something. But it also happens randomly.
I do tend to restart when it happens, but I will try some of the other fixes you've shared, too. Thank you!
This is insightful. I work from a laptop mostly, a powerful laptop, but a laptop nonetheless. I will try to lighten its load in hopes I can stop Storyline from doing this. It's happening more and more recently.
If the problem happens again, please record a Peek 360 screencast for me, and I'll be happy to help or you can always work directly with our support engineers here.

Try clicking play, after 10 seconds gap click play/pause again and then with 5 seconds gap click pause/play again. The timeline will start playing.

I observe it to be more of a RAM and processor issue then Storyline defect.
