Hi E-Learning Heroes

I have a few questions about tracking data.

1. I was wondering if you could track user inputs/choices through embedded questions in story line?

So the data entry is sent back to you in some way?

2. Can you track the number of users that have accessed the story line?

I am aware of embedding a Google Doc to retrieve data.

Help/Suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hi Simona,

Storyline is designed primarily as an elearning development tool to be used in conjunction with Articulate Online or your own Learning Management System (LMS).

For the best results and most accurate reporting, we recommend using Articulate Online, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial of Articulate Online here.  Any LMS that is compliant with SCORM, AICC, or Tin Can API will also provide accurate tracking capabilities. Both Articulate Online and an LMS would track the answers to quiz questions within Storyline and who has been taking your course. 

Tracking results in a text file or database is not supported.With that being said, I've seen a few threads where users send data to a Google doc or something similar.
