Feb 12, 2016

Welcome everyone,

I noticed that the version 48 browser chrome video mp4 in articulate does not start.

Do you have a similar problem?

No, my phone with android and on the phone with a friend.

I do not already do not have that file story.

But it was simple files .story with screencast recorded in articulate and inserted video mp4. Situations can generate simply inserting any movie mp4 to .story and watching on Mobile Chrome 48 in HTML5.

Yes and no.

An interesting phenomenon, let me explain.

When turn on your link on phone for wifi connectivity, video work.

but when turn on your link on phone for data transmission (H+), does not work on Chrome 48*

Transmission speed i have 7,54 Mbps, on browser "Internet" from samsung by default preloaded in Android this link and video work. On Chrome 48 not... video loads indefinitely.

Additionally

I have confirmed in other phone where there was a version of Chrome 47 everything worked, after updating - video loads indefinitely.

Thanks to Christoph Krieger for pointing out this post after submitting my post below.

We are experiencing the same issue and have been going around in circles trying to figure out the cause.  Any update on a resolution by any chance?

Thanks, Michelle

Hi all,

I wanted to provide an update here, as Storyline 2 Update 8 was just released, and included a number of fixes which you can see in the release notes available here. The item you all may be particularly interested in is how it fixed the issue where videos wouldn't play in HTML5 output in Google Chrome 48 and later when viewed over a cellular connection on Android devices. You can download the latest update here, and after downloading and installing the latest update you’ll want to republish any existing content to ensure that the updates and fixes are applied.
