When I publish my storyline file (web, include html5 output) the video displays like this:
It plays as if there is an image behind it. There are numerous videos in a number of the files I have published, and most play like this. I have deleted videos, reuploaded them, had other people publish the files and it still plays like this.
What video file formats are you using? It looks like you are importing the file directly into your project; is that accurate?
After you publish, how are you viewing your file? Are you opening the published output from the folder directly? Do you upload your output to a web server? We recommend uploading your content directly into its intended environment to make sure all elements function correctly.
If you are loading this into a web server, what browser are you using to view your project? This article lists the supported browsers for viewing Flash and HTML5 output.
Are you able to share one of your .story files for us to do some testing on our end? You can use the Add Attachment button in your reply.
I know that was a lot of information, but share what you can and let us know how you're making out!
It was saved on the C drive and the video was mp4. I was opening it directly from its file(in Chrome). I see the problem is gone now once I open it in it's attended environment. (I uploaded it onto tempshare) and it displays fine now.
