In all the video slides I have, the videos are getting restarted whenever I move/scrub the seekbar in the course player. This happens only when I publish the course (HTML 5 version only) and upload it to the LMS. But If I preview the course from local desktop, this issue is not reflecting. Please help.
Note: I have updated the Storyline version to the latest one - V3.36.212890
I'd love to help you track down the culprit. Are you comfortable with sharing the .story file with me for testing? That way, I can publish the course on the same Storyline 360 update and test the video performance in SCORM Cloud–a free, industry-standard testing LMS tool!
Yes. The original issue where clicking the video control seekbar restarts the video instead of scrubbing was fixed in Storyline 360, Build 3.24.17733.0. This version was released in January 2019.

I am having a similar issue with my (2023 version) of storyline.
I want to add a simple question interaction on my video. the interaction is a new layer and it pauses the video and restarts the video successfully, but when i scroll/scrub through the seekbar, the question keeps appearing and pausing the video.
I hope my explanation is clear. I am happy to attach a file if that helps.
Great idea to open a case as well! I see you've connected with my teammate, Jan, and he shared that dragging the seek bar past the cue point triggers the cue point trigger.
