Articulate Community Roadshows in 2014
Dec 03, 2013
Just wanted to share that we’re looking at doing some Articulate Community Roadshows in 2014. We hope to make it a fun, practical, hands-on type extension of our online community. We’re picturing a two-day event with two tracks each day that would include a range of topics around general elearning, visual design, interactivity and of course some sessions specifically related to the Articulate tools.
Although nothing has been finalized yet, here are some tentative locations and time frames.

We’re looking for your feedback. What topics are you most interested in? Is there anyone you would like to see present? Would you like to be a presenter yourself? Any other feedback or suggestions?
I look forward to your responses and hope to see you there!

As a way to collect your feedback on the locations you and others would prefer here is a form where you can register your "vote".

Hmmm...Denver seems pretty centrally located to me. With Patti Shank, Lisa Goldstein, and myself already here...
I'm excited you mentioned Boston as a potential. I'd love to get involved. If there is any volunteer opportunities please let me know. I'd recommend contacting UMass Boston as a potential location in Boston. I'm finishing up my Master's in Instructional Design from them. I purchased Storyline for work and hope to become an elearning guru someday.
Mike,
We would be willing to host you or help you find accommodations. We are next to the airport so that could be handy. The issue would be how many people you expect but we have a large meeting room and a computer lab with 12 machines.

St. Louis agrees with the Ring of Fire comment. I second (or third or fourth or fifth) the user conference comment. I wonder if there is a creative way we could use technology to have some virtual participation during portions?
I don't have any specific topics off the top of my head, except the obvious "tips, ticks and shortcuts." Either way, I'd love to attend/present in Minneapolis.
Throw Dallas into the mix eventually please.
I guess Australia's out of the question?

Is there any way these sessions can be made a webinar (like available on gotomeeting.com) so people like me, who cannot travel, can participate?
I had a topic idea. I'd love to see someone present on custom feedback layers in Storyline. I always seem to have issues with them. I can't tell if it's user error or the software acting funny. They always seem take more effort than I feel like they should.
I'll be going to Seattle & Vancouver!
I vote for Detroit, MI as a location for 2015 Roadshow. I would love to attend.
A stop in Phoenix would be awesome.
Any chance of coming to Toronto?
Sounds like your overwhelmed with location requests but sure would be great to see you in San Francisco or Silicon Valley/Bay Area. Huge population of Articulate fans in the home of the startup. Nothing against San Diego but the greater Bay Area is more densely populated.
Have there been any more thoughts about Birmingham/Manchester in the UK?
Nicholas
I agree with the other posts here, we need something we can take away and use when we return to work. While conferences are very informative, sessions specifically geared toward using the tools would be best.
We have four on our team, but we use Studio 13, and it seems like everything is geared toward Storyline now. Any chance there will be any in depth sessions using Presenter, QM and Engage? Would love to see it in Vegas, lots of possibilities there.
Milwaukee or Chicago would be a great stop too. (maybe not right now... let's wait until the temp gets back to the positive side)
Lake Charles, Louisiana would be a nice Roadshow destination....

Hi
My colleagues and I would love it if you could make it to Vancouver, Canada. There is a quite a few people here in
Vancouver that I know of who use Articulate Storyline and the support and inspiration from meeting others and the opportunity to interact with trainers such as yourself would be tremendous.
I'd also be in for Denver.
I live in Dubai - UAE but, I have plans to travel Miami (USA) on 25 April 2014 till 15 May 2014. I shall be happy to come Boston on above dates to present Articulate story line how effectively we have been using this software in our college.
Please do PM me if you need to discuss more about it.
I'm with Steve - anywhere in Australia would be awesome!
Any more news on whether you are planning UK/Europe events at all?
Birmingham (UK) - good compromise location. Really hope I can go.
