We are re writing our online courses and we're after some advice.
Are we better off publishing for Scorm 1.2, Scorm 2004 or Tin Can? We are looking for the best learner experience and the best reporting/tracking options. Can you advise?
If your LMS supports all three standards, I would suggest you to publish to Tin Can. You will have more data for the end analysis. In addition, it's undiniable that mobile learning is the trend. You may know more differences between Tin Can and Scorm by reading this article: https://elearningindustry.com/introduction-tin-can-api

Hi Julie,
The learner won't be able to tell the difference, so it really depends on what your LMS supports. Did you ask your LMS vendor what they recommend?
Hi,
Yes, they support all three and recommended Tin Can but I just wanted to get other opinions too as we have always previously published for Scorm 1.2.
I ready that Tin Can is better for Mobile and we are seeing the number of people viewing on a Mobile is increasing.
Thanks,
Julie.
