Help with Motion Paths

I would create a T/F variable for each question.  When the user gets the question correct set a trigger on the question slide to change that T/F variable to True.

On the main slide then allow your avatar to move on the motion path on condition that the question variable = true.

I appreciate your prompt suggestion! I went ahead and made your suggested changes, however, it is still not working. For example, I intentionally missed the first question, which left the avatar at its starting position. Then I answered the second question correctly and the avatar moved according to the motion path on the trigger panel, which was designed to move from home base to first base, BUT in this case, it should be from starting point to home plate. I feel like I need more variables and/or triggers in either situation...I just don't know what they should be.

I've attached the story file with your recommended changes so you can confirm that I'm doing what you proposed.

check out this tutorial - I think you will need to have relative start points on your motion paths. This means the motion path will start from wherever the object currently is on the screen, which in the case of the user getting an incorrect response you want it to stay where it was and not move until the next correct question is met

Both files I attached have relative start points set up. Your suggested way of setting it up works if the learner answers all the questions correctly. However, it doesn't seem to work if the learner answers every other question correctly. It behaves in a similar fashion to my original file.

Hi Janet, you can create one T/F variable and add into the conditions of your motion triggers. Set variable to be False when answer is incorrect and True to correct answer. To do that, you only need to adjust the variable in the Feedback master slides. You can check out the attachment.
