I've been assigned to design a course with very minimal use of Text/VOs. The reason for this is the multi-lingual issue and the fact that those receiving these courses are low paid immigrants working in a foreign country. We can’t rely on their ability to read.

It's a fire saftey course! 😅 The learners will be immigrants workers in the middle east. So I guess translating is the way to go right?
Thinking of watching toddler educational videos for inspiration.
Using the type of graphics used on airline safety cards springs to mind. You'd potentially need minimal translation with this route.
