I have a legitimate need to switch off "curly quotes" for some of my storyline slides because I'm using them as a shorthand for "feet" and "inches." It is never acceptable to use curly quotes in these situations. Is there a way to override the "curly" default on some slides?
The quotation marks are coming from your font. I assume you could change the marks by changing the font for those quotes.
I'd probably start with the insert>symbol option an dpick a quote sign that works for you
there are special unicode characters for feet and inch
