help with Storyline 360 completion trigger when adding to Rise

Hello everyone.  I am hoping someone may be able to assist, as I cannot seem to find a good solution.

I created a branching scenario with roughly 56 slides.  I plan on adding it as a block to rise 360 and want its completion to be required before continuing.

A percentage of slides completed will not work, because based on their choices, one learner may see 20 slides, while another may see all 56.

What I want to do is just base the completion on them reaching a certain "scene" in this case the "closing", as this signifies they did the entire exercise regardless of how many slide they needed to navigate to reach it.

I am attaching the file in case helpful.

Thanks in advance.

  • Here's how to require completion of a Storyline block in Rise:

    • In Storyline, add a "Complete course" trigger that runs at the appropriate place. Based on my understanding of your project, this could be a "when timeline starts" trigger on a "closing" slide. (For future reference, you could use more than one completion trigger, for example, at the end of each branch of a scenario. Then completion would be based on whichever trigger runs first.)
    • When you publish the Storyline file to Review 360, set it to track completion via the completion trigger.
    • In Rise, if you insert a locked Continue block after the SL block, it won't allow the user to proceed until they reach the slide with the completion trigger.
