Packaging Video Files in SCORM Format (Using Review 360) and Repurposing the Package Files
Hi,
We have tried uploading a video to Review 360, made it a SCORM package, and downloaded it. All works well in our LMS.
We will be having more such videos (each of them ranging between 10 MB to 4 GB).
Instead of uploading each of them to Review 360 and downloading them as individual scorm packages, can we repurpose the originally downloaded SCORM package? That is - we will manually replace the mp4 video and the title inside imsmanifest file. We will then proceed to zip and create each SCORM package (a reuse of the other files necessary for packaging).
Do we have any other solution other than this? (I know we can import each video to SL 360 and publish a SCORM file. However, this will consume a lot of time and effort given that we have dozens of videos.)
I was having a chat with Articulate's Artie.ai chatbot. The chatbot informed me that i can do the same. I am attaching a screenshot of the same. I sought a confirmation from the Articulate support team. The support person sent me an email that - "We don't offer advice on customizing the published output to work in a specific LMS environment. "
I do agree with this gentleman's mail. I think repurposing the package files (SCORM wrapper, API, etc. and customizing them is acceptable though it is not supported.
Seeking some ideas as we will be able to save a lot of bandwdth and effort (we have dozens of videos waiting for an upload in our LMS).

At a minimum you will need to change the identifier. I would still upload them although suspect the 4gb video will be rejected.
