Scene slides problem

Thanks Maria, but setting a "starting scene" is not the issue.
I have a scene (topic 1) with 10+ slides in it. When click on my main menu Topic 1 (to launch the scene) the scene starts playing from slide 2 without showing the first slide. It is if slide 1 is hidden from being shown or something similar.
Any idea?
