Sharing folder in Rise
Hi,
Is it possible for Rise users to share folders? We have a mid-sized team of developers and we would like to store final files in a shared folder structure (for maintenance and translation purposes). Is this possible?
I know you can add collaborators, but can you share folders with a specific group of people like you would share a google folder?

Second request here too! This would really help teams streamline their work. +1,000

Hello all,
Obviously Articulate is betting that switching to another provider is more effort than the cumbersome and annoying process of creating and managing courses as a team. Almost 200 requests in more than 4 years are therefore ignored. From paying customers, unbelievable.
Maybe it helps to place our annoyance in another public forum like Linkedin or as a G2 Review. This brings attention to other Articulate departments like PR and Sales who may not be aware of this issue. Let's build pressure together so we can finally work with Rise as a team the way it is usually done.
Cheers,
Sebastian Hi Ewa,
Thanks for your question!
Right now, there isn’t a way to share folders with team members in Rise. We’d love to hear more about how this feature would improve your experience using Rise if you’d be up for logging a feature request.
We’re working on ways to make team collaboration in Rise even easier and I’ll make sure your voice gets added to the discussion.

Is this discussion still being monitored by Articulate? It's been two years in this discussion alone. The users keep providing examples of how it could be a useful feature and we're not seeing anything on the roadmap. Is there any update that can be provided?

This is also a pain point for my team as well. Under one folder we have the english version and various localized versions as well. To share with each other, we have to individually share each course file. This would be HUGE if we could just share the entire folder.
Hi everyone,
Good news: we just released some new features that are going to solve a lot of the pain you've points you've brought up in this thread.
The first one allows you to assign different roles for different users. Here's a video that shows how that works.
The second one makes it easy to transfer Rise 360 content from one team member to another when someone leaves the team.
Check out this video to see how it works and this step-by-step tutorial for more details.
And these aren't the only cool features we released today! Visit our what’s new page for the full list.
Let me know if you have any questions or comments. :)

I agree with the other requests. While we can share the file, and even provide admin rights to the file, the inability to have shared folder structures for developers is functionality that should be core the idea of collaboration for Teams.
Having a Rise folder structure for Published, Archive, WIP on my end, and the inability to share that with the team is not an ideal situation.
7 months and counting...

Adding my team's voice for this feature (sharable file structures). Collaborating with a team to create training for multiple products gets a bit cumbersome without the ability to organize this as a team. With the direction we're moving, this is going to exponentially get worse quickly.
Thanks for adding your voice to this request, folks!

Adding my voice! We recently upgraded to 360 Teams, and a shared folder would be amazing. As the others have stated, if someone is ill or unavailable we want the other team members to be able to make updates and publish. Currently we are adding multiple people to each final rise course. Especially for a new hire - you could just add them to the folder, instead of having to go into each course. Another thought related to this would be the ability to create groups so you could add multiple collaborators at once.

I agree - this is really crucial to our team. We would like to have an update on the possibility of this as well.

We desperately need this functionality!
