We would need the files to be on .story (storyline to be able to work on them), and we will deliver the files, with the localized content, in the same format.

You can select a couple of languages (e.g. Spanish) for the generic buttons e.g. Start Course, etc., but apart from that, the information you want to display in the course would need to be in the required language and copy-and-pasted in.

We feel comfortable targeting Q2 2018 (April-June) to release Course Translation. I hope this helps with your planning, and we'll let you know as soon as it's ready to go.

The latest on Course Translation is that it's up next in our feature queue. We’re working hard to hit our target of a Q2 release. We want to get this in your hands soon, so stay tuned!

Great news everyone!

We released a new feature in Rise today:

New: You can now localize a Rise course into other languages. Export text to an XLIFF file, translate it, then import it back into Rise with formatting intact.

Because Rise is a web app, new features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to export a Rise course again to update existing published output with a new feature or bug fix.
