trying to open Rise and "something went wrong" error message
Does anyone have a fix for "something went wrong" error message? It happens any time I try to open Rise? I have cleared my cache, restarted my computer and tried using another computer.

I can't open my Rise courses, I keep getting an error message that something went wrong
Hi Shaheen007,
Thanks for reaching out!
I'm unable to reproduce the issue using Chrome. Can I ask which browser you're using and if trying a different browser makes a difference? Testing in incognito or private mode may also help. I'm curious if this happens with multiple courses or just one. As a next step, please try clearing your browser cache and let me know if issue persists!

I have this as well, it happens on all laptops, personal and work, and happen 5-10 times a day. Makes work almost impossible.

Hi Kris! I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue five to ten times a day. That is really difficult. I would love to have a support engineer work closely with you on this. Please open a support case here.

Hi Chino,
It appears that my using MS Edge instead of Chrome has solved it. Not sure why, I guess some difference in the backend of the browser, but happy it works now. Curious if more people find this with chrome, not sure if it is how rise and chrome interact?
Glad to hear that, Shari! By the way, replying via email includes your signature with contact information in the public forum. Feel free to edit your reply here.
Hi Shari, are you still seeing that problem in Rise 360? If so, we'd love to help. Please open a case here, and our Support Engineers will be ready to assist.

No it appears I have resolved the issue. We did a couple things so we are not exactly sure what the problem was.

Thanks for opening a case about this, Becca. That was a smart move! Robert recently sent you a few questions about what you're seeing. Please reply back with more details to answer his questions, and we'll help you sort this out!

I was receiving an error after login. I was not able to see any of my modules just a white screen with the message, "something went wrong".

I am experiencing this issue currently and would love to know what the fix was!

Are you having the error when you log in or during a specific section of the course? I'm having the same error but it's when I try to edit a specific section of the course. I'mlooking desperately for a fix!

Hello,
I was getting the error with Internet Explorer and Chrome so I used Microsoft Edge and then after 3-4 weeks the error came back with Edge. I reset all my browser settings and deleted a file that was stopping my IP addresses from talking and I cant remember what it was called . . . . it started with “mu . . . .” I am sorry I can not remember the file name. It was like finding a needle in a haystack. I understand your frustration. I knew it was something small and crazy like that because I could open Articulate 360 on my home computer. If I figure out the file name I will email you. Good luck.

Thanks for the follow-up Crystal.
I worked on Rise through Microsoft Edge for the entire day yesterday and didn't have any issues, so the Chrome browser may have been the issue in my case. Thanks for the tip, Shari!

Dear Alyssa and Shari,
Thanks for the feedback. I'm on a work laptop but operating from home, so not a secured network, though much of the maintenance of the laptop is controlled by the office (settings, updates etc.). I've been using this set up for several months and only receiving issues with Rise in the past week. I'll contact my IT colleagues to see if something has changed. In the meanwhile, I'll give Edge a try.
Incidentally, I have no issues when I use my personal computer, so it does seem that it's an issue with my work set-up.
Thanks again.
