Users with no Articulate account being asked to sign in

Aug 04, 2022

I shared a link to a Storyline course in Review 360. I selected "Allow users without Articulate IDs to comment."

The user was able to access the course but when they tried to comment, there was a pop-up that asked for their email address. After they entered it, it took them to the Articulate sign-in page. They don't have an Articulate account, so they weren't able to comment.

Is there something else I need to do to allow them to comment without an account?

Thanks!

Hi Stephanie,

If your user or reviewer is being required to sign in before leaving a comment, that means that they may have created an Articulate ID before using their email address. You can refer to this article which explains this behavior:

If they are unsure if they have an Articulate ID or not, you can ask them to reach out to our support team by opening a support case so we can verify if they have an existing Articulate ID.
