I would like to create an interactive element in Storyline, then embed it in Rise and then still change the text in this element (within Rise) - is this somehow possible?
I need a block in Rise which does not exist, so I decided to create it in Storyline. But my problem now is that once it's in Rise the text of this element cannot be edited anymore, which I need regularly. Is it possible to create such an new editable block for Rise?
As i do need something similar... im gonna try creating a Storyline block with a transparant background...so the texts will be under the block ( if possible ) in Rise and thus editable...
Managed to pull this off anyway. Not editable in Rise perse, but editable on the LMS and in the end thus also in Rise. Basically its a component that is dynamic. Text and image are changeable and thus its completely dynamic. Gonna make a demo of it.
Math, I look forward to seeing the demo. I am a web developer and eLearning/curriculum designer, so I tend to go the custom scripting route myself, but have not needed this particular item (editable storyline in Rise). I would love to see what you came up with.

As Storyline and Rise are two completely different applications, a Storyline block that is editable in Rise is unlikely to happen.
So you need to continue to make your edits in Storyline, then republish, and replace the updated block in Rise.

You cannot add a block over another block in Rise
yeah already stumbled on that one...too bad... can you use CSS and/or javascript in Rise ?
There is no support for CSS and/or JavaScript in Rise.
There are some people that publish a course and then edit the output files, but that is not supported by Articulate.
