Rise Quiz Results
Is there a way to have quiz results sent to your account email address or results saved in an area for review? Once distributing the course/quiz I created to our company, we will need to know if staff are passing and/or failing? Thanks for all your help!

Hi Sophia,
The tracking of results and any notifications to a course administrator is something that is handled by a Learning Management system and as such there isn't anything baked into Rise (or our other authoring tools) to handle that. Do you know which LMS you'll be using to host the content? Any LMS that supports SCORM 1.2, 2004 or AICC would work. You may also want to take a look at this article on how to share your Rise course.

Hi Ashley and Sophia,
To follow up on this question: what kind of information could be tracked if one would share a SCORM package of a Rise learning product on a Moodle or Totara LMS? Is this limited to the amount or percentage of completion? Or does it also contain data such as amount of answers right/wrong, completion time etc,?

Hi, Paul.
At present, Rise will send the score (if tracking by Quiz Result), and the completion status. You can set the completion percentage when exporting the course, and when the user reaches that point in the course they’ll be marked complete. You can take a Peek at that (courtesy of Alyssa) here.
We're also working on building question-level details into Rise's LMS output, and you'll get this as soon as it's ready.
If you'd like to take a detailed look at exactly what Rise is sending to the LMS, you could enable LMS Debug Mode and watch all of the communication between Rise and Moodle firsthand!

Hi Justin,
Is there any update on the question-level results report? We are currently using Rise to present the material and another solution for quizzing. It would be great to be able to use Rise alone.
Thanks
Hi Tony!
Thanks for checking in. We're still working on this - but are working to have it ready in the next month or two. We'll keep you posted.

Can I get an update on the question-level report?

Hi,
Is it possible to get the score if I'm not using an LMS? I'd like to programmatically store it to our database using either php or scripting.
Hello Rosanne!
Great question. Not sure that I've seen someone get that set up yet, but hopefully someone in the community will be able to pop in and assist you here.
This is not a functionality supported by Articulate, as we advise using an LMS for tracking.
Hi Mahalia,
This feature has been on our list for a bit, although some timelines have shifted, it's still an important feature for us and one we're working on!
As a feature moves closer and closer to finished we're able to offer an ETA for release, but I don't have any info to share on that today. Discussions like this one are tagged so that once we've got more to share we can pop back in here! So as long as you're subscribed you should see the email notification.

Hi Ashley,
Any update on ETA for question-level reporting? I'm currently on trial and this would be a key feature for my organization. Thanks!

A related question.
There are two options in Rise 360 scorm package development screen. And inly one is clickable
either a completion percentage or a quiz result. Does that mean whenever we choose the "completion percentage", the quiz score of our participants will not be tracked and vice versa?
What if we need both the completion tracking plus the quiz score.
We have currently selected the completion % option. But our moodle scorm report does show a column for score. Could that display the quiz score as well?
Hi Muhammad,
With Rise (and Storyline/Studio) we only report one tracking or completion item. So either the percentage complete or the quiz score.
Let me know if you need anything else!

Hi,
is there any way you can restrict users completing the course until they have passed a certain percentage within the quiz?
Thanks
Adam
Hi Adam,
We just released the feature to Require Passing Score to Continue in Rise. You can see more details on this here. This setting only impacts Quizzes in Rise (not knowledge checks).
I hope that helps with your courses, and let us know what other features you'd like to see in Rise!
Hello Adam!
This is certainly a feature that is on our radar.
We'll be sure to update here when this is available. We do not have a date on the roadmap to share.
