I`m having trouble getting my test to report using Moodle. I`ve attached a screenshot of the learner activity report. Not sure if it will make sense to anyone who isn`t familiar with that LMS. To me it looks like it was working fine up until the test and then just went crazy. Has anyone had a similar issue with getting Moodle to report a score from a Rise scorm package?
Hi Steve, Not sure I can help (because my reports don't look ANYTHING like that!) but I have managed successfully last week (after beating my head on the keyboard for about a month) to embed my Rise content into Moodle 2.8 and it is tracking completions very nicely. I am only tracking PASS/INCOMPLETES though, not scores. I had to play around with numerous Moodle settings so happy to share what i came up with if you think that will help?
Sure! I'd appreciate any info you can give me. Even if it's doesn't fix the score reporting right away it might point me in the right direction. Thanks, Sharon :)
I'm actually in the middle of the rise project development and I would like to use moodle as my LMS, however I'm seeing several issues when importing your Rise project into Moodle, is there any Opensource LMS that you recommend? do you have any guidelines?
We don't recommend a specific LMS as there are tons of them! Any LMS that is compliant with SCORM 1.2, 2004 or AICC should work with exported Rise courses.
Our team also tests at SCORM Cloud. You can host courses there as well, and it's known for being an industry standard in the LMS world. This article will walk you through how to upload content there.
Is there a specific feature or function you need in an LMS? That may spark an idea in a community member to share!
Hi Steve, sorry - I was away. I have attached the settings I used - complete trial and error and obviously to suit the topics/quizzes I had but it is working and tracking nicely for me now. We can see who has completed what and a successful completion so BOO-YEAH!! Hope this helps. We have Moodle 2.8. Sharon.
We use Moodle LMS, but are experiencing reporting issues with our Rise courses.
The user has completed a course with a quiz set to track/report back to the LMS. We find that Rise doesn't update/report accurately back to Moodle, so users show as 'Not completed' when in fact they have completed.
This is an intermittent error, not a consistent one. We have tried various tracking options but to no avail.
Looks like I just responded to a similar question of yours here.
We may have a touch more information shared in this conversation though, but I see that you mention it's happening within your Moodle LMS and intermittently.
Is this something that you've been able to replicate?
Is there a particular browser/environment that the users have in common?
As I mentioned in the other thread, it'd be great to know if you're experiencing the same issue in SCORM Cloud or if it's limited to your LMS.

We use Moodle 3.5 and RISE content and are having this exact issue. I am trying to make sure I have both RISE settings correct and Moodle settings correct. Trying to figure out what the settings should be in both.
What you described sounds very similar to an issue we've seen lately with reporting in certain LMSs, specifically when learners close the browser window instead of clicking the Exit Course button inside the course.

Hi Sharon, Can you provide some guidance on how to set up your environment to import Rise Scorm projects?
Thanks!
Hi Alejandro!
Are you running into some issues importing your own Rise courses into your Learning Management System (LMS)? I'd love to help you figure those out.
Can you share:

Wow, Sharon! This is incredible! Thank you! I'll give this a shot. And no worries, I've been on vacation for a couple weeks anyway :)

Hi, this is happening also to us, both in moodle and in totara
Hey All and Tracy,
Did you find a solution to this issue?
