I'm trying to complete a course and am doing very simple edits to text. However, I suddenly have been getting the "Something went wrong" error message many, many times in a row and I'm losing work. I can't finish this course, what do I do?
I'm using the latest version of Chrome, I cleared my cache, restarted my computer, rebooted my internet and no luck. I also checked the Articulate status page and it says everything is operational.
I'm having exactly the same problem. I tried a different browser yet the "Something went wrong" error continues to come up (every few secs when I edit). It doesn't save edits that I make in between occurrences of the error. Unfortunately, customer support hasn't been able to fix it as yet.
I can confirm that unfortunately this problem only seems to affect a particular eLearning course (as well as copies I make of it). I've begun deleting certain blocks but this has not helped. The problem doesn't seem to occur when I'm on the landing page, it only occurs within the lessons.
Hi Lisa! Sorry to hear that you're getting a "Something went wrong" error while working in Rise.
Can you try other supported browsers to check if the issue is browser-specific?
Another thing I can suggest is to access Rise in Incognito mode (Windows: Press Ctrl + Shift + n. Mac: Press ⌘ + Shift + n). Do you still get the same issue when in Incognito?
Hi! Please help! I'm having the same issue "Something went wrong" when I publish to 360 or LMS. I tried incognito and it didn't work. I published another course and it was fine but not this specific course I'm trying to publish.
HI there Qualifications Team! Thanks for letting us know that a course with a blank attachment block causes the error when publishing to Review 360. I've logged this as a possible bug and we'll update this thread if a fix comes out!
Getting "Something went wrong" a lot this morning. Especially when filling out fields in both the knowledge check and list blocks. Tried everything mentioned in original post (e.g. different browsers, rebooting).
Hi Bobby! Thanks for letting us know that you've tried the troubleshooting tips but the issue persists. Please open a case with us here so that one of our technical support engineers can work with you directly!
Trying to use Rise 360 since last night and I keep getting the "Something went wrong" error. Tried different browsers, cleared cache and cookies, restarted computer, logged in and out - still getting the same error. Rise 360 been unusable for a full day now. No response from support yet.
I find this extremely frustrating. I am having the same issue and yet Rise is all green in terms of 'system status.' I have deleted and re-created a course 3-4 times in the past 24 hours. It is a simple knowledge check. I have authored 100's of courses. I submitted a ticket this morning but no response. I have wasted a lot of time on this issue.
I am experiencing the same thing and some really funky behavior. I get the "Something went wrong." message when I try to add a bullet point to the bulleted list. Then I am having trouble deleting or selecting text. My cursor hops all over. Hope they figure this out soon!!
Adding on to the thread in case this info is helpful to the Articulate staff troubleshooting this bug.
We are consistently getting the 'Something went wrong' error when we try to add additional responses to quiz questions. Occurring across different courses and different developers (i.e., global issue not specific to one course or one developer).
We've tried different browsers (Chrome and Edge) with Incognito and it doesn't make a difference —still happens 100% of the time.
Thanks in advance for working on solving this bug for us!
I see the famous '''Something went wrong' error but just with one course and just when i try to publish. A couple of week ago i was able to publish it.
Hi folks! Thanks so much for your patience with us. This issue should be fixed now. Please have a look and let us know if you're still running into this error!
I checked your Articulate ID, and it looks like you have recently logged in successfully to your Articulate/Rise account as well.
Are you still getting the same error when trying to work on your Rise course? Can you share more details on what task you were doing when you experienced this error in Rise?
Hello, I am looking for urgent support, as I am having the same issue here, right now. When I try to publish a course I am currently developing, its gives me this error, for the last few minutes.
Same issue here! Tried the trick of deleting each lesson to see if there was a problematic block, but it did not help. However, I can publish an unaltered template course to the review tool so it's not a global issue.
I Just came here to see if there was anything and saw most was from months ago. I get that error when trying to publish. I've tried two browsers and even restarted my computer.

I just discovered you can’t publish a Review copy with a placeholder for a PDF (Multimedia)

Same here, have tried every suggestion from Articulate and still getting the same error. I have a training class starting tomorrow!

Hi Alyssa,
We can now add additional responses to quiz questions without getting the error message.
I am not able to log in and getting the "Something went wrong" error.
Hi Abhijit!
The issue reported previously has been resolved.
I checked your Articulate ID, and it looks like you have recently logged in successfully to your Articulate/Rise account as well.

Mine ended up being a blank block that I didn't see.
