Storyline Activity Embed Slowing Down Rise Course

I wonder if anyone has had this issue and was able to remedy it..

When creating modules for our locations, it is necessary that the quiz have separate questions for each type of staff member (front and back end) as they have different duties. I also sometimes include Storyline activities in modules for staff to practice what's being taught (a drag-and-drop activity involving selecting the correct packaging for certain items, for example). The only issue is that these Storyline blocks are SO slow to load once they've been embedded in Rise. A module that normally takes about 10 minutes to complete is taking learners 30+ minutes. This applies for Storyline activities with many images and text-only quizzes. Is there a way to prevent this?
