We have created our first three courses in RISE360, using videos and other standard RISE360 functionality. We have been requested by the customer to load them into their LMS.
What will be the recommendation, or criteria to use, to make a decision to which "LMS" type we export to between SCORM2004, xAPI and cmi5? As far as we know, the customer has no specific requirement. We would like the course to be enjoyed and used as per 'preview' in Rise360. We do not know if the above LMS-types will have an influence on how the course is presented. Any recommendations, or things to look out for? Will really appreciate some guidance and experienced recommendations!
This is the most common question asked by everyone who is exporting the content for LMS. SCORM, xAPI, AICC or cmi5 are eLearning standards, some LMSes support all standards and some support only SCORM or more.
First, you need to learn about standard(s) are supported by your LMS, then export as per reporting need.
