Audio Muffled and Distorted

Hello,

I have been trying to import audio into a simple slide with the Articulate import audio feature.  The WAVs will import, but are significantly quiet and with a ton of staticy din over the clip.  These are short clips which sound fine when listened to with any other media player.  When looked at in Audacity or Ableton, it has a great waveform.  I am not sure what is happening in the Articulate software to mangle it.

I recorded on a PCM-M10 @ 16bit > Edited in Audacity and exported .WAV @ 16bit.
