I have a hyperlink on a slide in Presenter 13. It's linking to a dedicated URL. The link opens in the player, but it opens in a browser window without a scroll bar. The result is the learner can't view the website.
This is happening across all browsers types: Chrome, Firefox, IE.
Well, this was the first question, but it's looking like the answer to this question is that plain links are not possible. The links that function in Presenter 09 published courses do not work when the course is updated to Presenter 13.
I can live with that if there's an alternative. It appears the alternative is a web object. But, well, that's the other question. Those don't seem to work well, either. I need to know how to make an image a clickable link. If that doesn't work, then I need to know how to roll back my Presenter software to 09.
This thread has more suggestions for solutions for hyperlinks and images. For example, one user suggests adding a transparent button on top of it, and then turning the button into a hyperlink.
This thread refers to the issue with the scroll bar disappearing in the browser window, saying "The current workaround is to use 'Default' for window size, instead of 'custom' or 'full screen'." What are your settings for the browser window?
Hyperlinks may not work as expected when previewing. To test hyperlinks, publish your presentation and upload it to a web server or LMS. Otherwise, local security restrictions may prevent your hyperlinks from working properly.
Thank you all for your attempts to help. I'd already ready the support articles you suggested, but read them again in case I missed something. Here's how it breaks down:
The thread suggestion for "suggestions for solutions for hyperlinks and images" boiled down to it not being fixable and to suggest changes to Presenter development team.
The thread suggestion about getting the scroll bars in windows is support for Storyline, and doesn't apply to Presenter 13.
Getting a link to open in a window with scroll bars is not working in my Presenter 13 published course. It works in the courses I published in 09, but when I work with a Presenter 13 published course, the window doesn't open with scroll bars. I know we're testing from a web published course because I have about 10 employees accessing a required training module, and they can't scroll to confirm that they have completed the training in the survey monkey form we are linking to.
I'm still wondering if I can roll back to Presenter 09?

What if you set the link to open in a new window? I found an article on web objects that describes how to set this option and others.
It's a link to a surveymonkey site at the of the presentation. I want it to be selected by the when they are ready to go there.
Hi Gina and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
Looks like I just responded to a similar question here, but let me know what your end goal is - it looks like you have the web object like a button?
