Although the players look similar and are the same file type, if you try to import a Player template from Storyline into Presenter 13 you'll be presented with an error "The player you select is not supported."
A question related to this. As I'm unable to use my custom player skin, can you explain how to change the header text colour in the standard player. I've figured out how to make the player frame white but can't see an obvious way to change the font colour for the title, menu and resources etc
Within the Player set up, there is a button at the top for colors and effects - you'll want to visit that section and select "advanced editing" as described in this tutorial and each text item is listed in the individual sections (tabs, glossary, etc.).
I'm not sure that I am understanding this correctly. If I have a completed course in 09 that I have loaded to my server 6 months ago, and now need to update 1 slide, I am not able to update it without my player template being completely different? So I then need to update all courses within the curriculum to make them look uniform with the same player template?
I am unable to add a top bar in Articulate 13 version, all the courses we created in version 9 do include a top bar, and we wont be able to change the template, they are already live in LMS. Any alternative solution to this issue?
Are you speaking about the top bar options that are available in the Player Features? You can check out our tutorial here on adding the features that you need to your top bar in Presenter '13.

I cannot find my custom colours, either. Can I assume that they are not compatible with the new version?
The player architecture is completely different in Studio 13. Unfortunately, custom player templates and skins won't be compatible between the two.
Hi Steve
That is what I have since figured out. Ugh.
I wonder if we can use custom Storyline templates in Presenter '13?

Or yes presenter 09 to update it, otherwise you need to colour the player
