I have exported the XLF and Word translation document from 2 different courses made with Storyline 360 and sent them to translation. Upon reception of the translated files, I managed to import the XLF on the first course but I can't import either XLF or .DOC to the second one.
Hello, Rafik. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
Does an error message appear when you try to import the files into Storyline?
Also, would you mind sending in your translation files for testing by using this private upload link? Our Engineers will let you know what they find, and delete both files after troubleshooting.
Hi Katie, thanks for the reply but I fix that problem before I got your answer.
But I still have a problem with importing a translation. this time is for a Rise document. Ive included the XLF file and I can send you the link to the rise as well if you want.
Does the file you're trying to import have the same name as the one you exported? If not, I would try changing it to match as I have seen this issue once or twice in the past with SL, it might apply to Rise too, although that is a guess on my part.
If you still need some assistance, then with your permission, I'd like you to share your project file with our support engineers to investigate what's happening. You can share it privately by uploading it here. It will be deleted when troubleshooting is complete.
It looks like you were able to resolve this with help from my colleague, Richard! Sorry for any delay, lots of the team was offline for the long holiday weekend here in the US. We're back and ready to help again if needed!
Hi Ashley,
Thanks for the message. Richard was THE BEST!! He helped me understand the issue and he solved it for me. 10/10

yes my colleague mentioned that and I've checked, it's the same name.
If I send you the link to the rise, would you be able to try it on your end?
I'm happy to have a look, DM me and we can share details that way.
For anyone following this thread there might be some clues here: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/rise-360/urgent-problem-of-translation-in-rise
It appears that how the xliff file is edited can cause issues.
Hello David and Rafik,
Were you able to figure this out?

Hi Leslie,
I have submitted a request earlier today, #01945852, and am still waiting for a technician to get back to me.
Thanks for your help.
