Jumping positions to Cue point

Mar 07, 2013

Hello All,

I am working on a project and i need to jump the time line position as per the cue points i have created.

In the below screenshot, I have created two Buttons i.e. Button 01 , Button 02.

When clicked button 01, the timeline needs to jumped to Cue point 01 and same for Button 02.

As the storyline doesn't provide Jump to trigger, kindly suggest me the workaround to achieve this.

Apologies. But given the exorbitant annual subscription, and the length of time between repeated requests on this same subject.

To have no reasonable response from the ‘development’ team, is a sign of extreme disregard/disrespect to the audience that’s funding this product in the first place.

I’m sorry, but am I missing something???

Has anyone explored the possibility of creating code to call an external (general) video clip via a web object, specifying the start and end frame numbers?

This has been discussed previously on the Forum, when calling Youtube and Vimeo clips with an API but why would this mehtod not work to call an .mp4 sitting at a web address? Browser incompatibilities are mentioned so it wouldn't suit everone.

The thread is here.

Hello @staff,

I was wondering if we are able to "jump to cue point trigger". I stuck in my Project and it does not work if i trigger the audios  ( plays audios more than ones or does not play at all...)

I saw the posts of the folks from 2013 about this topic and i thought you guys made some fixes after 7 years ^^ ; there must be a solution goTo"some frames or cue points";...

please give me some good news

have a nice day

Hi Everyone,

I am happy to share that we just released the newest version of Storyline 360 (Build 3.38.21779.0), which brings the Jump to Time Trigger! This feature allows you to create unique interactions by using triggers that jump to different times or cue points on the timeline. For more details on this, please check out this knowledge base article

The next step is to update Storyline 360 by heading to your Articulate 360 desktop app and clicking "Update" next to Storyline 360.

As always, we are happy to answer any questions you have by posting in this discussion, or you can contact our Support Engineers directly.
