P.S.: I could not find out how to allow only one dragable item per target when using custom triggers for the drag and drop interaction. Maybe someone has an idea!?
What i found so far about 'One item per target'... is that the Slide Layers somehow prevent the 'Drag and Drop option' 'Only one item in each droptarget' to function properly. Also the grouping of elements you made in your Storyline perhaps has influence.
If i drag pins out of level1 and set them as draggable objects in the baseLayer and ungroup them.. they behave like wanted and only 1 draggable pin can be positioned onto a target.

The "One item per target" option and all other general settings for the freeform drag and drop task are irrelevant. The slide is only converted into a free form, as this was my first attempt to develop the game this way. So you can safely remove the freeform in the .story file and everything works as before, since only individual triggers are used for dragging and dropping.
As you probably saw, there are 8 drag items and 4 drop zones on each layer, which are connected to the individual triggers. All elements on the base layer are actually just "decoration". So the desired setting "One item per target" should be visible in the custom DnD trigger settings on the layers (see the attached picture). But since there is no such setting to be seen there (only german :/), I'm afraid that in this case it can't be set as desired either.

One of my all time favourite games...really nicely done..gonna see if i can figure out a way to make 1-drag thing happen...
