Quizzes and branching

Nov 23, 2014

Hello all - I'm new to Storyline and e-learning in general. Thanks in advance to any help anyone can offer!

Is there a way to have multiple questions for a quiz appear on the same slide?   Instead of inserting each question on a new slide and then copy/pasting over to a central slide? I have 3 brief quizzes w/ 4 T/F questions for each quiz so I don't want 12 screens for participants to click through

Also is there a way to branch from quizzes to content, based on the graded quiz results?  More specifically, if the participant were to fail aquiz, they would move forward w/ content. If they passed the quiz, they would move on to a second quiz, and so on.  Attached is a quick storyboard of what I'm hoping I can achieve in Storyline.

Thanks!

Jenn

Hello Jennifer, and welcome to Heroes!

For the question of how to add multiple questions to one slide, here is a thread with some ideas, as well as this one here.

As for your second question, you can branch to different slides based on the users results. The results slides have a built in variables for passing score. (results.passpercent)

You can use a jump to slide trigger on condition that the users score (results.scorepercent) is greater than the results.passpercent (and jump to different slide if the score is less than) You can also show different feedback text based on those same triggers as well.

Attached is a simple file with the triggers set up on the first results slide 1.3, for reference.
