Unable to click in text entry field after editing text

Hello, I'm having an issue with text entry boxes that's making things a bit inconvenient for learners.
When they type something in the box, the only way to fix typos etc. is to use the backspace key. For some reason, clicking anywhere or trying to highlight the text that's there doesn't work. I've downloaded demo files where other people have gotten things working just fine, but as soon as I preview or publish them they go back to this behaviour.
Is this a setting I'm overlooking? In case it was an issue with my installation I uninstalled and reinstalled but no luck. Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

Thanks!

Hello Sarah,
Thanks for contacting us and sharing a sample of what you are running into with your data entry field.
This is an issue that we are aware of and working on. I've linked this conversation to the report so that we can share an update with you when available.
There is no workaround outside of rolling back to Update 35 in the meantime.
Hi Leslie,
Thanks for that, it fixed the issue. Hopefully the next update will have a fix as well!
HI Sarah,
Great news! We just released another update for Articulate 360, and included a few important fixes that you'll see in the release notes here.
The item you'll be interested in is:
Fixed: We fixed a few issues with data-entry fields. Learners had to click a data-entry field before they could type a response. In some cases, they couldn't select the default text before typing a response. Text didn't always scroll when it was longer than the data-entry field.
Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Storyline 360. Details here.
