Comments Disappearing After Submission in Review 360
Hi,
I’m experiencing a problem with Review 360 where reviewers are posting comments, but these seem to disappear very quickly after being posted. While the reviewer believes they have submitted their review, I’m left with an empty review course. I’ve confirmed that this has happened with two different people on the same course. They have checked the review links, and the comments are also not showing up for them.
What makes it even stranger is that other people have been able to successfully post their comments on this course. For these comments, I’ve received notifications in my email, but I’m not notified about the disappearing ones.
I’ve already seen multiple threads regarding this issue on this forum, but no fix is mentioned anywhere. I’ve tried enabling resolved comments, turning comments off and on again, but to no avail.

At this moment, the unreliability of Review 360 means we cannot send courses out for review. Do you have any possible fixes?
Thanks!

Hey this just happened to one of my reviewers, and we're frustrated that we lost all their work. Is there any way to find the comments again?
Hey CoreyLester,
I'm sorry that you and your team are also experiencing this behavior.
I see that you've already opened a support case being handled by my colleague, Darwin. As he shared:
This can happen when the reviewer is no longer actively connected to our services at the time a comment is submitted. One common cause is a session timing out. For example, if a Review 360 tab remains open and idle for an extended period, the session may expire in the background even though the page still appears active. If that happens, any comments added afterward may not be saved successfully.
If you didn't receive a notification for the comment and it doesn't appear when you show resolved comments, it's likely that the comment wasn't saved and unfortunately cannot be recovered.
To help prevent this in the future, we recommend refreshing the Review 360 page or navigating to another slide before adding new comments, especially if the browser tab has been idle for a while. Doing so re-establishes the connection to our services and helps ensure that new comments are saved successfully.
We're actively monitoring this issue and continuing to explore ways to reduce the likelihood of it occurring in the future.
We can continue the conversation through your case!

Hello, are there any workarounds or temporary solutions available to address this issue? This has also happened to me on at least 2 separate modules and is especially frustrating when stakeholders have spent a long time reviewing and inputting thoughtful feedback—only for it to disappear.
Hi ccho,
I understand how frustrating it is to lose out on valuable feedback!
I noticed that you've also opened a support case and connected with my teammate, Mcgem. It looks like he just replied to your email sharing insight and follow-up questions.
You're in excellent hands working with him, and we can continue troubleshooting through your case!

Still happening: different developers, different courses, different reviewers, different countries. Please fix this.
Hi JeffSanto-3fcde,
I'm sorry to hear that you've also been affected by this issue!
I see that we had previously been working with you through a support case, but we haven't heard back. No worries. I've opened a new support case on your behalf so we can troubleshoot your affected Review 360 link privately.
Let's continue the discussion there.

It's still happening and I had to bear the consequences of that behaviour of Review 360. Which were not pleasant... Two different stakeholders reported that their comments are missing. They were on Edge browser. Well, at least two that decided to write about it. How can I operate as an e-learning developer or instructional designer when core functionality of Review is not working?
It's a bug reported for almost a year, and you cannot find the root cause? What are we paying for? That's unbelievable. I cannot go to all my SMEs and tell "please post a comment and make sure after a 5 minute break that it's still on the platform for the leading market software ok? Or come on let's have 30 minute one-on-one session with 20 SMEs to see if everything is working as it should. Yeah we are paying thousands of dollars yearly but this is RANDOMLY NOT FUNCTIONING so you know, please be mindful of the feelings of the big corporation." That's a joke.
That's yet another core functionality of articulate that is not working and yet another time on forums that you state you cannot find the issue. How does it even look? And like many times with Articulate, you keep adding some new functions instead of fixing years-old bugs. I'm starting to think about switching to another tool alongside with 50 colleagues from my company, because slowly I start to loose trust in all the tools you are selling, as they are randomly broken to the core.
There's not a single place beside forums that you will find any information about that behaviour. Not a single place with "steps to take care of". Instead, I must see that on forums themselves, after explaining to some senior stakeholder in my company why he/she has just wasted 2 hours of their time. You treating it like it's a minor issue, while this can cause terminating a contract with me. Should I revert to taking comments as screenshots in a word file?
Please explain WHY this is happening. You had a year to investigate and a few support cases, based on this thread solely.
Hi MateuszSzuter-e,
I completely understand your frustration, and I'm truly sorry for the impact this has had on your work and the relationships with your stakeholders.
While our engineering team continues investigating the underlying cause, we're reviewing each reported occurrence individually to gather additional information. I've opened a support case on your behalf, so we can work with you directly and test the affected Review 360 link.
You're in excellent hands working one-on-one with our support engineers, and they should be connecting with you soon.

I second this. Clients that have a strict communications dept. need to have a space in which their comments don't randomly disappear. Especially comments concerning a company's stlye guide are very important and since those randomly disappear, we, the creators, take the blame. We also can't sell this to them under the pretense that 'it's up to the Articulate environment', since it's an essential, yet basic function.
I really hope this will get more attention, because in the long run this is going to cost us important relations and a lot of time.
Hi Ramon_blend,
I'm sorry to hear that you've also been struggling with disappearing comments in Review 360.
I'd like to connect you with our senior support engineers so they can troubleshoot with you directly. I've opened a support case on your behalf, and we can continue the conversation there!

Wow, okay. Glad to see I'm not the only one. I did see comments, adressed them all. Only to find that a few days later, earlier comments have appeared? Which I did not see before? What's going on?
Hi ISa,
Thanks for sharing your experience. I can understand how confusing it would be to address all visible comments only to discover additional feedback appearing later.
A few questions that may help narrow this down:
- Were the newly visible comments left by the same reviewer or by different reviewers?
- Are you seeing this behavior in one Review 360 item or across multiple reviews?
- If you refresh the page or try a different updated browser, do the comments appear consistently?
- Are the comments visible when you first open the review item, or do they only appear after navigating to specific lessons or sections?
Since comment visibility can be affected by several factors, we'd like to take a closer look at your specific review. If you're willing to share the Review 360 link privately with our team, please reach out to our support team here: https://articulate.com/support/contact/
We'll be happy to investigate further with you.

Hi Eric,
Not 100% sure, but I think by different reviewers, on different dates. I only have one course in Review at this moment. After I saw the 'earlier unseen' comments, they stayed where they were. After navigating to specific lessons. I can't share this module, because of privacy regulations.
I'll keep an eye out for more content in Review with strange behaviour.

I can see a feedback count of 5 in the top right corner. However, the corresponding comments do not appear in the comments panel.

Seeing that there are many others experiencing the same issue I assume the bug is still present. We have a couple courses coming up for review, and I would like to know if this bug has been fixed or what steps we can take to mitigate this issue.
Is there any update from Articulate or the development team on a possible fix? LucianaPiazza
Thanks!
Hi CasMaassen,
I'm happy to jump in here. Currently, I don't have an update to share on this bug. We're reviewing the issue on a case by case basis while we determine a root cause. We'll be sure to update this discussion when we have news of a fix. We appreciate you working with us on this!

I'm the most recent one to experience this. We sent a course to our executive team for review, and I've received comments from my supervisor, our assistant director, and one of the deputy directors. One of the other assistant directors completed a review with multiple comments, but none have shown up. He's reviewed in Articulate for us before. We've not heard from the other executives. I've submitted a case.
Hi DawnJanis,
I checked your support case and see that your reviewer is now able to add comments which are showing up. I'm glad Lejan was able to assist you!

Is there an existing ticket number we can reference for this issue? This is happening to us as well.

I am also having this issue, so this issue still exists in Review 360 in April 2026. One reviewer posts like normal, believed they went to me and that they'd be visible, and they are gone. He followed the same process of clicking my shared link, entering email, typing a comment, and clicking Post just like other reviewer. I've sent him a Review Request to see if that offers a different process that works. I'll update if it does work.
Is there any update from Articulate on workarounds or when this bug will be fixed?
